The Swinburne Educator Academy will be a hub for educators to connect, collaborate, learn and develop their capability and expertise in teaching 
 and learning. The academy will promote professional development, education research and scholarship and career development. We are focused on supporting educators to achieve their full potential and build sustainable improvements in teaching quality and the student experience. The academy will:
- Encourage the sharing, experimentation and adoption of effective teaching strategies
- Provide resources, workshops, and mentorship for educators, including the new education specialists
- Provide subject matter expertise in the development of professional learning activities
- Acknowledge and celebrate outstanding teaching practices including, from 2025, through AdvanceHE fellowships.
