The EIX Student Agency enables students to gain agency over their educational experience. By partnering with educators and the EIX, students are given the opportunity to co-create innovations that impact their education at Swinburne, and provides students with an opportunity to undertake real-world experiences in a number of roles that will prepare them for their future career.

The agency will provide:

• a Collaborative Environment of shared learning between students and educators through a Students as Partner model.
• active engagement, support and feedback where students are involved in the design of educational experiences such as testing of educational technologies, providing insights in changes to units, assisting in the creation and improvement of learning resources and more.
• experiences to meet student needs such as short internships and educational enhancement projects (paid or volunteer) where students can gain practical skills and experiences that enhance their professional experience prior to graduation.
